Daniel DiSchino, MA, MHC-LP has joined the clinical team at Dr. Fallon’s Practice, and we are thrilled to welcome him aboard! Dan is a New York State Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit) whose work is informed by his Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Boston University, Master of Arts in Mental Health counseling from Yeshiva University in New York, and his ongoing training and education in pursuit of his doctoral degree in psychology. Daniel’s diverse background in the fields of mental health, research, psychology, and teaching come together to round out his diverse skill set and approach to Mental Health Counseling.
Dan employs an eclectic approach to counseling, drawing inspiration from person centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral modalities. Dan believes no two people experience the world the same way, and as such he seeks to build a therapeutic atmosphere, process, and goals tailored to each individual.
Dan’s goal is to empower people to uncover and utilize their unique strengths, and to facilitate better self-understanding in an effort to live a healthier, happier life. Dan has significant clinical experience working with neurodiverse populations and their families and he has also worked with a wide range of clientele. Dan hopes to make counseling accessible to as many people as possible!
