YaYa is a New York State Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit), a Southern girl with an adoptive New York spirit. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she returned to her family's roots in New York to pursue higher education. She earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University—Pleasantville and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Manhattanville College. She also holds a Level 1 Gottman Certificate.

A new client should know that YaYa tailors her approach to each individual she works with. She recognizes that every person’s situation is unique and requires a thoughtful, intentional method. Her goal is to create a warm, compassionate, and understanding environment where clients can genuinely connect with themselves and their experiences.
