At Work

What should a new client know about working with you?

Drawing from a person-centered framework, Marissa integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to offer a flexible, trauma-informed, and individualized approach for each client.

She has clinical experience in both higher levels of care and private practice, supporting individuals with OCD, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

Marissa also works with clients to explore and improve their relationships with body image and self-esteem. She works closely with those navigating relationship challenges, complex family dynamics, and generational trauma, guiding them in untangling long-standing patterns and fostering healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I wasn’t totally sure what I needed going into therapy, but working with her has made a real difference!! From the first session, she created a space that felt easy to open up in. She has a very calm presence. It’s clear she really cares and is in it for the right reasons. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for thoughtful, grounded support.

Marissa has helped me work through my childhood traumas which has changed my life. Marissa has always made me feel heard and I would recommend her to everyone!!
