Alejandra Parisi, Ed.M., MA, MHC-LP, Columbia University trained therapist, has joined the team and we are thrilled to have her here! Alejandra is a queer, bilingual Latinx Mental Health Counselor (LP). She earned her MA in Psychological Counseling and EdM in Mental Health Counseling with a Bilingual Latinx Concentration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a BA in Film Studies with a minor in Psychology from Barnard College, Columbia University. Her background in film, television, and media informs her attuned and creative approach to therapy. She is especially passionate about supporting artists, performers, and storytellers through the emotional complexities of their personal and professional lives.

Her clinical experience includes working with individuals and couples facing challenges with communication, relationships, and life transitions. Common client concerns and identities include: anxiety, depression, first-generation/immigrant, grief, identity exploration, kink/BDSM, Latinx, LGBTQ+, neurodivergence, non-monogamy, perinatal mental health, PTSD, and trauma.
