What Makes Working at
Dr. Fallon’s Practice Different From Other Therapy Settings?

Our core values of empathy, compassion, and respect for all are interwoven throughout all we do. We provide the highest quality personalized mental health care that is both accessible and affordable to adults (21+) living anywhere in NY.

 

We care for our clinicians in a supportive teaching and learning environment where new to the field as well as more experienced therapists can grow, learn, be a part of something special, and feel at their best while caring for others.

 

All clinicians create their own schedules that work best for their lifestyle and career goals. The practice provides services Monday through Friday from 7am through 8pm and each clinician's schedule can be 100% unique to them. In this full-time hourly role we require a commitment to provide 25 services per week which is approximately 5 services per day and MHC-LPs can provide up to 30 per week or 6 per day if that is their preference.

 

The environment here is incredibly supportive and at its heart it is a culture that truly nurtures and values learning and growing for all.

Bridge Between Buildings

Dr. Fallon's Practice is a New York State Approved Continuing Education Site!

We are accredited by New York State Office of Professions as a Continuing Education Site for NYS Mental Health Counselors. We provide CEU trainings every other week which are taught by LMHC-Ds who are expert in the topic areas they teach. All of our team members have the opportunity to get their CEU requirements free of charge as a result of our accreditation and our robust teaching model.

What’s It Like to Be Part of the Team at
Dr. Fallon’s Practice?

We are just as dedicated to the professional growth, support, and care of our team members as we are to the clients we serve.

All MHC-LPs are provided with one hour of 1:1 clinical supervision with their own dedicated LMHC-D clinical supervisor.

All first year MHC-LPs are a part of cohort and enjoy a weekly peer consultation group led by an experienced fully licensed clinician creating a smaller community within our broader DFP family.

Biweekly practice-wide case conferences are led by a different LMHC-D each quarter which is an opportunity for the team to come together to learn, support, and connect with one another on the meaningful work we’re accomplishing.

Biweekly practice-wide CEU offerings on topics of interest to private practice therapists.

Quarterly team appreciation nights where the team comes together for one evening every few months just to connect in-person for a night of fun, connection, and gratitude.

We offer transparent pathways for growth at every stage. Fully licensed clinicians may advance into salaried roles with competitive pay, PTO, and health insurance, while MHC-LPs receive meaningful support, recognition, and compensation increases on their path to licensure.

FAQ's

Do we have to get our own clients?

The Practice incurs all time and fees related to marketing and building caseloads. Caseloads are built easily and quickly at this practice using our proven method of precision mental health care and from our longstanding roots in the NYC community.

What does the onboarding process look like?

From the moment a new team member is given the opportunity to join our team they receive the highest level of support and responsiveness. The practice takes care of all OOP paperwork and provides guidance for a seamless experience related to obtaining MHC-LP Certificates and full licensure. All new team members (MHC-LPs, LMHCs, and LMHC-Ds) are provided with an extremely robust orientation experience led by multiple members of our senior team, ensuring that everyone feels prepared and ready to begin their new position.
