Alex has extensive experience working with those who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma. Alex has worked with clients in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient, residential, and outpatient.

Alex believes in building a foundation of self-compassion with clients, encouraging them to talk, treat, and approach themselves as they would a loved one. Her unique approach is person-centered and eclectic, utilizing warmth, curiosity, humor, and a nonjudgmental stance. Alex’s goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves, discontinue self-sabotaging behavior, and live the life they want.

Alex's supervision style is one characterized by collaboration. She enjoys guiding burgeoning clinicians in their journey of self-discovery, as well as helping them to build out their knowledge of necessary therapeutic approaches and skills. Alex considers herself a perpetual learner and looks forward to getting to know what makes each of her supervisees unique.
