The clinical team at Dr. Fallon’s Practice is thrilled to welcome Lily Overmyer, M.S.Ed, MHC-LP to our practice! Lily graduated with a Master of Science in Education in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University in New York City and earned a Bachelor of Science in Ballet from Indiana University in 2017. Lily is a dedicated therapist whose approach involves finding a fit for each client's unique needs and incorporating humanistic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to promote holistic well-being.
Prior to embarking on her career in Mental Health Counseling, Lily cultivated her passion for movement as a professional ballet dancer. This experience ignited her interest in exercise and cross-training, leading her to become a certified personal trainer. It was during her time as a personal trainer Lily discovered her affinity for understanding her clients’ personal journeys. Motivated by a desire to provide more comprehensive support, she pursued further education in mental health, enriching her practice and enabling her to offer holistic care to her clients.
Through her academic and professional experiences, Lily has honed her skills in guiding clients through a range of challenges by offering support and implementing strategies to promote positive growth and transformation. She has an interest in working with all types of athletes related to sports performance, eating disorders, transitioning out of sports and more. Lily is drawn to working with individuals who identify as adoptees, people of color, and those who embrace their uniqueness. She has experience working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and couples.
