Anya is a bilingual therapist, providing care both in English and Russian.

Her background in literature has helped her develop her clinical approach, which uses creative modalities including journaling and poetry to help clients explore their emotions and express themselves.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Anya fosters a warm and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, emotions, and relationships. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and is here to be with you through all that life brings. Using a variety of evidence-based approaches, including CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy, she is here to support people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Anya believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy and tailors her work to each client’s individual needs.
As a bilingual therapist and first-generation American, Anya is attuned to struggles with cultural identity, adjustment to new environments, and belonging. She knows the challenges of trying to balance different identities and living in two worlds. She is here to help you find an identity that is truly yours.
Process for Working With Clients
Clients working with Anya can expect a warm and collaborative environment that encourages curiosity and self-compassion. Depending on each individual’s needs, she offers structured, skills-based approaches such as CBT and DBT, insight-based self-exploration, and creative interventions including journaling and poetry. Anya believes most of all in developing a kind connection with oneself, grounded in hope, authenticity, and meaning.
“Hope” is the thing with feathers –
That perches in the soul –
And sings the tune without the words –
And never stops – at all
-Emily Dickinson
