What should a new client know about working with you?
A new client should know that I am a compassionate, heart-forward clinician who will meet them exactly where they are. I will approach them with curiosity and offer a safe, compassionate space for exploration and expression. I will validate their experience and together we will work toward deepening their connection to self, making room for all their emotions, and making small meaningful steps toward living the life they want to live.
Process for Working With Clients
I take a person-centered approach to therapy, which means I view you as the expert on your own life and trust in your capacity for growth. My role is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, accepted, and able to explore your experiences openly, without judgment. From this foundation, we can begin to deepen your self-understanding and clarify what matters most to you.
In addition to this relational foundation, I integrate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This approach focuses on helping you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions—learning to make space for them rather than getting stuck in or overwhelmed by them. Together, we work on building greater awareness, staying present, and identifying your core values so that your actions can align more closely with the life you want to live.
Our work is collaborative and tailored to you. I aim to balance following your lead with gently helping you notice patterns, step back from unhelpful cycles, and move toward meaningful, values-driven change. My goal is to support you in developing greater clarity, flexibility, and confidence in how you navigate your life.
