What should a new client know about working with you?

Nicole enjoys working with couples/families and can help them address financial disagreements, conflict resolution skills, communication skills, spending quality time together, intimacy challenges, infidelity, and other internal/external stressors.
Another passion of Nicole's is working with athletes. Being a Division Three athlete herself, Nicole understands the physical and mental demands of being an athlete and the pressures that come along with it. Nicole will use this knowledge to help athletes achieve overall mental well-being.

Process for Working With Clients

Nicole works from a person-centered/strength-based, CBT, and DBT perspective to help her clients enhance their life satisfaction and fulfillment. By assisting her clients in recognizing and nurturing their inherent strengths, challenging their negative thinking patterns, and learning to accept things they cannot change they can build upon those skills and more easily access them in the pursuit of their goals. Nicole is extremely passionate about helping people create positive and enduring change through the therapeutic process and through the attainment of new skills and techniques that are aligned with the changes they want to make.

You can expect the space you share to be warm and inviting. Nicole’s approach to the therapeutic process is built upon a foundation of empathy, trust, and respect. At the root of her motivation and passion for the field of mental health is her devotion to helping others live more full and meaningful lives.
