Adelle Blauser-Wilson, MA, MHC-LP

(She/Her/Hers)

Dr. Fallon’s Practice is so excited to have Adelle Blauser-Wilson, MA, MHC-LP on our clinical team! Adelle  is a New York State Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit) who obtained her MA in mental health counseling from Baruch College, Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, in the city of New York. Before beginning her graduate studies, Adelle had a career as a musical theater performer and educator. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. After witnessing the high prevalence of mental health issues amongst performing artists, Adelle was inspired to pursue mental health counseling to help make high-quality mental health care accessible.

Adelle’s experience includes working with trauma, family and relationship dynamics, women and LGBTQ+ issues, military families, and life transitions. She encourages her clients to explore how attachment and life experiences have affected all aspects of their identities. She is especially interested in the role that spiritual and religious backgrounds play in a client’s mental health. She takes an active role in sessions, prioritizing safety and strength in the therapeutic relationship.

Using an object-relations approach combined with motivational interviewing, somatic interventions, and DBT skills, Adelle seeks to help her clients find meaning and enjoyment in their lives. She has training in working with the neurobiological legacy of trauma. As trauma causes disconnection from the self, she encourages her clients to hold compassion for each of the different parts of themselves on their healing journeys.

In her spare time, Adelle enjoys musicals and hanging out with her three cats- all of whom like to make guest appearances in telehealth sessions! She looks forward to joining her future clients on their path to wellness.
