We are thrilled to announce the arrival of Jennifer Leung, MA, MHC-LP, a deeply compassionate and highly skilled Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit) who has extensive experience utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy as a primary approach to help her clients achieve lasting change and growth. With an understanding of the complexities of the human mind, Jennifer is dedicated to helping individuals navigate through their mental health challenges and find effective solutions.
Jennifer received her MA in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance University and a BA in Psychology from the City College of New York where she also graduated with double minors in Art and Asian Studies. Throughout her training, Jennifer has immersed herself in various theoretical frameworks and therapeutic approaches, always seeking to expand her knowledge and insight.
Jennifer’s approach to counseling is deeply rooted in compassion and empathy, recognizing that each individual is unique and requires a tailored approach to address their specific struggles. As a mental health advocate, Jennifer also engages in community outreach programs, aiming to increase awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health issues. Jennifer enjoys working with individuals struggling with anxiety, life transitions, relationships, stress management, depression, and substance use.
