Dr. Fallon’s Practice is thrilled to welcome bilingual psychotherapist, Leen Jabri, MA, MHC-LP to our team! Leen is a compassionate and culturally sensitive Mental Health Counselor (Limited Permit) dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. With an undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology and a minor in Sociology from New York University, she developed a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and its related factors. She further honed her skills and knowledge through her Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University, where she has been trained in various evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Leen's therapeutic style is grounded in person-centered therapy, where she prioritizes the client's autonomy and builds a genuine and empathetic relationship with her clients. She also draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients re-frame negative thought patterns, interpersonal psychology to focus on improving relationships, art therapy to tap into creative expression, psycho-dynamic therapy to explore unconscious motivations, solution-focused therapy to foster hope and agency, and trauma-informed care to acknowledge the impact of trauma on clients' lives.

Leen has a special passion for working with individuals who have endured trauma. She recognizes the courage it takes for survivors to share their stories and seeks to create a space where they can feel heard, validated, and empowered. Additionally, Leen has extensive experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, helping them to develop coping skills, challenge negative self-talk, and cultivate self-compassion.

As a bilingual therapist fluent in Arabic and English, Leen is committed to providing culturally competent care that acknowledges diverse populations' unique experiences and challenges. She recognizes the importance of understanding clients' cultural backgrounds, values, and beliefs and incorporates these factors into her therapeutic approach. Leen is also dedicated to reducing mental health stigma, recognizing that seeking help takes courage and that mental health is just as important as physical health. Through her work, Leen aims to empower individuals, foster mental well-being, and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable society where mental health is prioritized and supported.
