Mila Ghose, MSW, LCSW

It is with much happiness that Dr. Fallon’s Practice welcomes Mila Ghose, LCSW to the team! Mila brings with her a wealth of experience in the field of mental health and an exceptionally kind, caring, and approachable demeanor.

Mila earned her MSW at Hunter College in the city of New York where she graduated with honors and her BS from New York University where she received prestigious recognition for academic excellence. Mila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is thrilled to be helping clients improve the quality of their life at Dr. Fallon’s practice!

Mila has provided therapy to individuals, groups, families, and couples for the past decade. She uses a unique blend of different strategies, including evidence-based practices and psychoanalytic theory, to personalize therapy for each client she works with.  Mila truly believes that therapy is a reciprocal relationship between client and therapist. 

Mila has been told that she infuses her therapeutic style with humor, kindness, and honesty. Her motto in life is “What do we owe each other?” She works to meet clients where they are so they can engage on a journey together.   Mila supports clients with determining their goals for therapy, however large or small, and working with each client to identify and embrace strategies to support them in reaching their goals.

Mila is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from the Beck Institute and in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Traumatic Grief- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. Mila has specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and often uses concepts of mindfulness and meditation to support emotional regulation and stress management. 

Mila views herself as a lifelong learner with a holistic view of emotional well-being.  She continues to seek knowledge on new approaches that can best support her clients.  Mila is an affirming, antiracist, anticolonial therapist.  Her expertise includes working with trauma survivors, mood disorders, support with life transitions, self-esteem, families, and relationship therapy.  She hopes to see you soon!
